This is the bit where law firms say We’re Not Like Other Law Firms. (And then often prove the opposite.)

So, we won’t say that. Our aims are clear: giving excellent advice, drafting the highest-quality written work, and being approachable. In short, being the best law firm around. To add substance to that, we’ll set out our principles. These are the things we live by, every day.

If there’s an irreducible minimum, this is it. We are technically strong and always stay ahead of developments. No amount of other stuff can replace this.

A lawyer may conduct trials, but shouldn’t be one. The days when clients will tolerate unresponsiveness, aloofness or downright strangeness in an adviser have gone. We think you’ll enjoy working with us.

Sometimes you’ll need us to come out fighting. Other times your matter will require diplomacy and charm. Occasionally you’ll need a 60-page document, and sometimes anything over four pages will send the other side into a spin. We always work out what is needed at the time: it’s as vital as knowing the facts.
